NO SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT IS NEEDED.

While Firestable™ FS 2.0 is applied just like any other SPF, the following guidelines provide for the best end result: 

• Premixing is required with a standard drill (7 amps or higher) and blade mixers (see label on B drum). We recommend a Cosmostar 10" blade mixer.     No mixing is needed while spraying.
• Graco E30 equivalent or larger proportioner with minimum 15kW heaters.
• Gear pump units are NOT recommended For this product.
• T2 equivalent or larger transfer pumps.
• Graco Fusion AP or equivalent gun. (Note: Graco Fusion PC is not approved for use with FS 2.0)
• We recommend a .47-.52  chamber with a fusion gun; this appears to be the sweet spot that is most manageable by the majority of sprayers.

The base foam core temperature of the standard product applied to the substrate should be as close to 100 fahrenheit to maximize yeild and adhesion of the FS 2.0 application.  Once this temperature is reached in the base foam, Firestable™ can be applied.
